This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who wants to develop their skills in digital marketing whilst working for one of the country's leading high-performance digital marketing agencies with a global reach. You could be working for clients such as Karl Lagerfeld, Amara, The Conran Shop, Hackett, Dwell, Trendy and The Book Depository (the list goes on…).
Genie Goals, which is part of Genie Ventures, was one of the first Google Premier Partners in the UK (which if you know paid search is a big deal!). This is just one of our many accolades (but more about us later).
What about you? Why do we think you should start your career in digital marketing with us (apart from the world class industry-leading in house-training, that is)?
Well, the main reason is we love our staff! We don't say this glibly; we feel honoured to have such awesome colleagues and we know 100% that Genie’s success is because of the talented people that work here.
We are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented native German speaker to join our growing agency at Genie Goals as a Digital Marketing Executive. The role can be based from our Cambridge offices or from the comfort of your own home via remote working. We are totally flexible and happy to discuss any style of working that will suit both your way and Genies.
Reporting to a Strategist/Senior Manager, you will work closely with the various channel teams and account managers to deliver world class digital marketing campaigns across a range of exciting international retail clients, while learning about a fast moving and consistently growing industry. You will be responsible for making a real success of these campaigns by implementing Genie methodologies, close campaign management and great decision making, particularly working with clients in German speaking regions.
Whilst your substantive post will be in the channel you have been hired into, when opportunities arise we try to provide executives with opportunities to work in different teams or areas of the business to help develop a broad range of skills and knowledge across different business areas.
As an executive at Genie Goals we will invest heavily in your development and progression. When you start you will be put on an intensive development programme. Approximately three months into your training you will have moved from ‘trainee’ to Digital Marketing Executive, which also involves a £1K pay rise - whoop! (and quite possibly a Genie celebration – read: ‘pub’).
Once you have made it to Digital Marketing Executive you will be trusted to start taking ownership of some of our accounts, with all the support you need to make these a success for your clients.
Career development is an integral part of the Genie Ventures strategy: internal training and promotion are central to our growth and success. Today, half our teams at Genie are led by staff who joined as junior employees.
At Genie we strive to make work meaningful; we work hard but like to have fun along the way! We are a social bunch, so there’s always something going on: quarterly socials, spontaneous pub trips, participating in charity events and even our own football team!
You might be able to tell, but we think Genie is a great place to work (we would, wouldn't we?) - but it’s not just us. In recent times we’ve won the Google ‘Ready to Rock’ Award, Working Mums Top Employer Award, Cambridge Business Excellence Employer of the Year Award; and were awarded two stars by the ‘Be’ Best Company panel. Plus we were finalists in the Amazon Employer of the Year Award, Cambridge SME Business Awards, British Small Business Awards and Cambridge Judge Business School High-Growth Business of the Year.
Oh, and did we mention the free fruit, nuts, coffee, vast range of tea, wellness initiatives, table football or the designer office? I could go on...
