Our award winning digital marketing agency Genie Goals is looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join the business. Genie Goals is a fast-growing tech-led digital marketing agency specialising in performance marketing channels (PPC, Video, Display, Paid Social, Affiliate etc) for the retail sector. The Genie businesses work closely with global brands including Google, Amazon, Mamas & Papas, Karl Lagerfeld, Hackett London, Amara Living, Technogym, AO, and many more.

Reporting to the Agency Director, you will contribute significantly to the growth of the agency through acquisition of new clients and accounts. You’ll be interested in technology and innovation and will acquire all of the technical knowledge required to be able to sell the Genie proposition.

You should be a confident and innovative networker who will work independently to take on the responsibility for all activities that relate to prospecting and lead management, including researching and identifying new leads and potential new markets and managing the relationships and communications from beginning to end ultimately aiming to close deals with new customers.  You’ll take on the responsibility for setting and meeting targets to drive forwards the growth of a business whose turnover is at £4+ million and rising fast.

This is a new and exciting role for the right individual, and will include a managerial element, initially managing our existing Marketing Manager, but potentially also having the future opportunity to grow and train a team.

There is the opportunity to work remotely with this role, but we would ask for a commitment of at least 1 - 2 days per week to be worked from our Cambridge office.
